The Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program.
Meals will be provided at the following sites: Bovay Scout Ranch, Navasota, Texas and El Rancho Cima, near Wimberley, Texas. Income eligibility will be based on family size and income, using the standards for determining free and reduced-price eligibility, provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The sites are "Closed & Restricted to Enrolled Youth Participants".

The individual camp application for parents to complete for their child to participate is being mailed to the registered Cub Pack and Scout Troop units and their parents. The Child Nutrition Program Application (Form 1531) is to be completed and returned to the Sam Houston Area Council, P.O. Box 924528, Houston, Texas 77292-4528 or delivered to the attending camp upon check-in.
