The Aldine Pathfinder District
Established in July 1991 when the larger Polaris and Flaming Arrow districts divided into smaller units in the late 1980’s. It is one of 18 districts governed by the Sam Houston Area Council, by far the largest council in the U.S.
Defined by the boundaries of the Aldine Independent School District, Aldine Pathfinder consisted of 57 combined Troops, Cub Packs, and Explorer Posts. The Aldine Pathfinder District gives young people new experiences while teaching leadership skills and teamwork utilizing the Scouting program.
Aldine's Scouts enjoy a year round program of weekly meetings and monthly camping. Each year the district hosts two Camporees for Boy Scouts, a Cuboree and Day Camp for cubs, as well as participating in the Annual Scout Fair at Reliant Arena.
