How is the Eagle Trail District having fun in 2007? Roundtable Roundtables are a great place where new ideas and best practices are shared with other Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leaders. Learn how other leaders have exciting programs and solve problems. Roundtables are conducted the first Thursday of every month at South Main Baptist Church, 4300East Sam Houston Parkway South (Beltway 8) between Fairmont Parkway and Genoa-Red Bluff. Training Every Scout deserves a trained leader. Every new leader should take New Leader Essentials and Youth Protection Training. Position Specific Training is designed to make you knowledgeable in your specific position in Scouting. New Leader Essentials are offered or on demand by calling Scott Vacker at 713-991-1600. Have trainers. Will travel. Trained leaders and are happy leaders with happy Scouts. Be sure everyone in your pack, troop, team or crew is trained. Take the challenge to be 100% trained District wide by December 31, 2007. District Challenge – Have all leaders 100% trained by December 31, 2007 – Hot dog dinner will be served if the challenge is met.

Annual Meeting The annual meeting of the Eagle Trail District will be November 8th at Baywood Country Club. The leadership of the District will be elected during the District Committee Meeting.
