The Mustang District serves the following school districts:

• Spring Branch 
• Houston

Last year, Mustang served more than 2,800 youth with the help of 1,100 adult volunteers.

The Mustang District is one of the many premier districts in the Sam Houston Area council and is situated along the I-10 corridor and taking in the School Districts of Spring Branch and Houston ISD schools.  The District is proud of it's status as a leader; Mustang has one of the largest membership of any traditional district.  Mustang raises $100,000 in Family Friends of Scouting.  The District boasts a Day Camp attendance of 500 Cubs, a camporee with 400 attendees, Webelos Woods attendance of 300, and the School Night recruiting effort generates over 550 new scouts each year.  The volunteers in the Mustang District are making Scouting happen big time for the youth on the West side!
