The Rising Star District serves the

• Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District (the third largest school district in the state of Texas)

Last year, Rising Star District served more than 5,188 youth with the help of 2,531 adult volunteers.

Rising Star District hosts a number of District activities that include the District First Aid Meet, Boy Scout Camporee, Cub Scout Pushmobile, Cub Scout Day Camp, Tiger Cub Scout Day and both Webelos Do Your Best and Webelos to Scout Exposition.

Scouting serves the following youth...

Cub Scouts: Boys in grades 1-5    

Boy Scouts: Boys ages 11-18       

Varsity Scouts: Boys ages  14-17  

Venturing: Co-ed 14-21
