Lemonade Day

The Sam Houston Area Council is excited to help Scouts learn about business and the community this Saturday for Lemonade Day, May 4, by joining forces with Jeff Bagwell, the Houston Astros and Prepared 4 Life, an educational organization.  Click the link below to learn more and see a picture of Jeff Bagwell with one of our Cub Scouts.

Scout Fair

It is time to gear up for the 2008 Scout Fair.  The theme is Race to Scouting.  We are disappointed to hear that the Grand Prix of Houston has been cancelled but the Scout Fair will not be impacted. There are many ways to participate from selling value packs and buying ads in the Yearbook to commercial booths at the Scout Fair. Scout games with the Astros

Attention Scouts!  Are you interested in having the opportunity to start a Houston Astros game on the field?  Attention leaders!  Are you looking for a great Scout activity for your den, pack, or troop?  The council teamed up with the Astros to host 4 Scout Days with reduced ticket prices.  Click the link below for more information.
