New Centennial Uniform Available Fall of 2008

The Boy Scouts of America has designed a new Scout uniform for the Centennial. This uniform has been created as an option for Scouts to wear. The current uniform is not being replaced.

This new uniform is designed with activities and camping in mind, using high-tech materials that dry fast and wick away moisture.

"We have come a long way from the origional short pants and stockings of the British Scout uniform from 100 years ago.  As technology advances, high-performance, functional fabrics evolve, allowing us to improve upon and make significant changes to the Boy Scout uniform.  It's all about comfort, ease of care, and funtionalilty."(1)

Look for the new uniform at your local Scout Shop or on-line at ScoutStuff.org sometime this fall.
