Adventure in the Jungle

Formerly called Cub Scout Leader's Pow Wow, Akela's Trail is designed for Cub Scout Leaders and Parents as a one-day training beyond New Leader Essentials and Cub Scout Leader Specifics. Providing ideas and a variety of how-tos in a fun environment, Akela's Trail will help facilitate your learning and sharing with experts in Cub Scouting.

Akela's Trail has something for everyone; from new leaders and parents to those that are experienced. Akela's Trail is a time to share, renew knowledge, and learn current policies.

With over 50 courses to choose from, Cub Scout leaders will have numerous opportunities to increase their knowledge of the Cub Scout program, learn new skills to make program planning easier and more fun, and gain enthusiasm and confidence during hands-on experiences with outdoor skills, crafts, song-leading, games, derbies, and a wide variety of topics that will help make Cub Scouting more fun for adults and Scouts.

Event Chairs, Alice and Gene Hamilton of the Flaming Arrow District, and their staff will take you back to the fundamentals of Cub Scouting as you have your Adventure in the Jungle.
