WEEKEND CAMPING gives Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers a chance to spend time at one of our four wonderful camps or at other sites throughout Texas.
Reservations for weekend camping at El Rancho Cima are handled by Tami Kinn, 713-756-3309; Camp Strake including Grand Lake, Cub World and the Conference Center are handled by Melanie Harrison, 713-756-3398; and Bovay Scout Ranch and Camp Brosig by Geno Aguilar, 713-756-3304.
Packs and Webelos Dens may camp at Bovay Scout Ranch or Cub World at Camp Strake for Weekend Camping. Packs, Cub Scout Dens of all ranks and families may register for Adventure Camps at Bovay Scout Ranch.
Boy Scouts and Venturers can have a great weekend away from home in the great outdoors to practice outdoor cooking and other skills with their Troops and Crews. Weekend camping offers these older youth an opportunity to try new adventures in a safe environment such as climbing, horseback riding, canoeing, shooting sports at one of our camps or other campsites throughout our area. Weekend camping is fun for youth and adults through the entire year. Come visit Camp Brosig, Camp Strake, Bovay Scout Ranch and El Rancho Cima .
