Enjoy all the wonder and beauty of the central Texas rolling hills and lakes at Bovay Scout Ranch. Bovay Scout Ranch has a variety of camping opportunities for everyone from Cub Scouts to Boy Scout troops and Venture Crews. Bovay has year round camping program opportunites for all levels of Cub Scouts including weekend family Adventure Camps, summer resident camp and the new Webelos Coyote Trail Extreme Adventure Camp. Conveniently located just 45 minutes from downtown Houston, Bovay Scout Ranch can be found just three miles south of Navasota on the east side of Highway 6 on County Road 317.

Adventure Camp
Adventure Camp is a weekend camp out for Cub Scouts and their families.  Admission covers three meals in the air conditioned dining hall and the scout's activity supplies.  Activities typically include BB guns, archery, water park (weather permitting) and one or two program areas (e.g., BMX bikes, dino dig, mine, nature center, Indian village).  Bovay staff members provide the program supplies and facilitate the parents who lead the activities. Packs, Dens and individual families may register.

Summer Resident Camp
Cub Scout Resident camp is a three-night campout for Scouts entering 2nd – 5th grade the following school year. From Scout skills to rank advancements, these camps are full of fun and learning. Scouts attending resident camp are also encouraged to register for District Day Camp as the advancements offered at Resident Camp add to those offered at Day Camp.  Resident include activites such as: seeking treasure in the Lost Mine, archeological quest at the Dinosaur Dig, high speed pedal action at the BMX Bike Track, Robin Hood Style adventure at the Archery Range, marksmanship at Fort Bluebell’s BB Gun Range, action at the K.S. “Bud” Adams Sports Field, Pow Wow at the Indian Village, exploring camp at the Nature Center, and splashing in the water at the David Weekley Family Water Park.

Webelos Coyote Trail Xtreme Adventure Camp
Webelos Coyote Trail Xtreme is a specialty Adventure Camp weekend for 4th and 5th grade Webelos. During this fast paced funfilled weekend, Webelos work on Arrow of Light requirements while trekking across the Ranch to exciting Outpost program areas.  Webelos are introduced to the patrol method giving them a unique experience into the importance of team work and an introduction to Boy Scouts.  There are two different programs:  WOW (Webelos Outdoor Warrior) with a shooting sports emphasis and WON (Webelos Orienteering and Navigation) with an orienteering and navigation emphasis.  Space is limited, so register early.

Weekend Unit Camping 
Troops, Teams, Crews, Packs, or Webelos Dens can enjoy the wonderous beauty of Bovay's rolling hills, trails and vast open spaces.  Campsites, restrooms and showers may be requested, but the program areas and dining hall are not available for use during this type of camping.

Duke Energy Camporee Area
Districts may camp at the Duke Energy Camporee site. This 100 acre primitive camporee area is nestled between the rolling hills and prairies of Bovay Scout Ranch. Reserve the Camporee site through your District Executive.
