Add razzle-dazzle to your den and pack meetings with activities that will impress, inspire, astonish, motivate, surprise, and entertain your den or pack. Discover ways to add sparkle and perk up your meetings with cheers, skits, jokes, songs, audience participation stories, and impressive ceremonies. Now is the time to try something new!

The pack meeting brings all of the dens in the pack together for the purposes of recognizing the achievements of the Cub Scouts, communicating information about upcoming events, and providing a program that enriches the Cub Scouting experience. Pack meetings help the Cub Scouts realize their den is part of a larger organization. A good pack meeting is well planned and well organized. Packs typically meet several times during the year – there is no required number. Some packs meet monthly, others less often. As the pack committee members determine how many meetings to schedule and when, please keep their purpose in mind. Events such as the pinewood derby, raingutter regatta or blue and gold banquet can be considered pack meetings, especially if brief announcements and some achievements or rank advancements are included.

Below are suggested pack meeting plans that can be utilized to make pack meetings fun. These pack meeting plans are templates and can be used in any order and adjusted to meet the specific needs of the pack. The pack committee might also want to focus on a specific point of the Scout Law each month. Common skills across ranks are also provided to assist den leaders with program-planning. Check back for updated links. Our volunteer team is currently compiling resources and updating them to the recent program changes and working to updated the year one resources.
